It is time that the “moderate voice” rise and be heard in the political arena. For too long the loudest voices have gotten much of the attention. It is time to return to reasoned discussion about issues that are important to the great majority of South Dakotans.

Partisan politics is a paralysis that is gripping the nation. It needs to be stopped and voices of reason need to be heard. As we become more and more diverse as a state and nation, we need to be a welcoming voice for citizens to become involved in our democracy.
