About Us

In 2005, a group of concerned South Dakota residents formed the South Dakota MAINstream Coalition, a non-partisan, grassroots citizen organization. They wanted to create a forum for citizens of moderate voices to come together to discuss the important issues of the day.

The South Dakota MAINstream Coalition consists of religious, political, business and community leaders who represent he moderate voice of reason grounded in the principles of the U.S Constitution.

The MAINstream Coalition is led at present by a 14 member Board of Directors. We are also going to build an Advisory Board with members that lend their civic stature and offer direction for our activities.

Member’s demand for greater advocacy spurred the South Dakota MAINstream Coalition to form a separate non-partisan organization to engage in direct political discussion.
